Tuesday, the best boys golfers in the River Valley Conference will travel to Blue Top Ridge in Riverside for the RVC Championship meet.
Mid-Prairie enters the meet fresh off of a win over Durant on Monday, where they shot a 175 at Blue Top Ridge, led by Monte Slabaugh’s 39. For the season, the Hawks have a 348 average per 18 holes, that’s fourth in the RVC South. Noah Schlabaugh is fourth individually in the south with a 79 average per 18. West Branch leads the RVC South with a 316 average per 18 holes, followed by Wilton at 337 and Tipton at 341. In the north, only Monticello has an average better than the Hawks at 338. Individually Ted Bridges of West Branch leads the south at 77 per 18 holes, in the north it’s Justin Recker with a 79 average per 18. Action begins at 9a.m. and continues throughout the day in Riverside.
