A warm front will bring a chance for severe storms across eastern Iowa late Wednesday. With the precipitation, area river levels are on the rise. A flood warning is in effect for the English River at Kalona until Friday night. Flood stage there is 14 feet and it is forecast to rise to 15.3 feet Thursday with minor flooding expected. The flood warning continues at Oakville with minor flooding expected to continue, impacting agricultural land. Also, a flood warning has been issued for the Cedar River near Conesville until further notice. Rain is expected through Thursday in Washington. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
