The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls soccer team is red hot, winning their last four matches in a row, including a 10-0 win at Wapello Monday and a 7-3 victory at Anamosa Tuesday.
Against the Arrows to lead off the week, the Golden Hawks were led by hat tricks from Julia Boller and Sydney Yoder. Mid-Prairie also got two goals from Kaitlin Martin and single tallies from Esther Hughes and Emma Slaubaugh. Boller had a pair of assists and Yoder had one. Emily Swartzentruber had a clean sheet with five saves.
In their win against the Blue Raiders Tuesday, it was Boller again leading the way, with a hat trick plus one. Esther Hughes added a pair of goals and Libby Baker one. Sydney Yoder had two assists, Kaitlin Martin and Esther Hughes each had one. With the wins the Hawks are now 6-3 on the year.
