The top two individual scores at the Southeast Conference Boys Golf meet on Tuesday belonged to Washington, as Brock Sobaski and Brady Knutson shared conference title honors at the Washington Golf and Country Club.

Knutson capitalized on a 36-stroke front nine and Sobaski with 37 in the back nine to have matching meet-medalist scores of 76. Those tallies just edged out Mount Pleasant’s Jake Moffett and his round of 77. The Panthers did have the upper hand in the team standings however, winning the conference with 328 strokes to Washington’s 358. Fairfield was third with 364. Other scores for Washington included Mitchell Driscoll 100, Caleb Tanner 106, Grant Sobaski 107, and John Prohaska 123.

The Demons gear up for sectionals tomorrow at Flint Hills Golf Course in Burlington.
