It was over before Wapello knew what hit them.

Monday, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks rolled into town and took it to the Indians in a non-conference boys soccer match by a 10-1 final. Mid-Prairie wasted no time taking control of the match, building a 6-0 lead going into the half. The Hawks continued to pour it on second half, scoring four more times before the final whistle. Ethan Trimpe, after a position move to forward, showed off his offensive skills, posting four goals in the victory. The Hawks also got goals from Jose Juarez, Tobin Miller, Aaron Slaubaugh, Byron Yoder and a pair from Zeus Fugate.  Trimpe, Camden Marner and Beau Stutzman each had two assists. With the win, Mid-Prairie has now won six of their last seven and moves their overall record to 7-3 on the year.
