After a postponement yesterday due to the cold, the Washington track teams will have a beautiful night to run in Mount Pleasant for a class 3A district meet to try and punch their ticket to state.

Both Demon squads are coming off of top three overall finishes at conference last week. For the boys team Mitchell Driscoll won a title in the 200m and 400m. The distance medley relay also seized top honors. The girls look for similar results in the relay events, as they won the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relay.

The Panthers also welcome Davenport Assumption, Centerville, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Keokuk, and West Burlington/Notre Dame for the meet.

The Demons start up their night at 4 p.m. in Mount Pleasant.
