The Mid-Prairie boys and girls soccer teams host Mediapolis Tuesday night at the Mid-Prairie soccer complex in Wellman.

The Mid-Prairie boys are 8-3 on the season after a 3-2 win over Keokuk on Friday. For the season the Golden Hawks are led by nine goals from Aaron Slaubaugh. Ethan Trimpe, Byron Yoder, and Camden Marner all have three assists. Dominic Pickard has made 26 saves with a 72% overall save percentage.

The Mediapolis boys have an overall record of 6-9. They were beaten in the opening round of the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament Friday 2-0 by Holy Trinity. On the season the Bulldogs are led by Alejandro Garcia and Drew Zurmuehlen with eight goals each. Nathan Hine has the team lead with 10 assists. Randall Hine has made 121 saves this season. These two teams met a year ago with Mid-Prairie taking a 1-0 win.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 7-3 on the year, winners of five straight including a 7-3 victory over Keokuk last time out. For the season the Golden Hawks are led by Julia Boller with 12 goals scored. She also leads Mid-Prairie with six assists. Ainsley Lueck has made 27 saves in goal.

Mediapolis is 5-4 this season, falling to Burlington Notre Dame 4-0 last time out. On the season the Bullettes are led by Mikenna Crews with 10 goals scored. Elle Gerber leads MEPO with eight assists. Leelu Daigle has made 67 saves in goal. These two teams met a year ago with Mediapolis taking a 10-0 win. Action begins tonight at 5p.m. in Wellman.
