Join the KCII Big Red Radio at Kidzfest in Washington this Friday. Investigate Health with Washington County Hospital and Clinics at the youth health fair. The event is the first stop of KCII’s Summer Town Tour for 2019.

KCII General Manager Joe Nichols says the Summer Town Tour is a great way to celebrate our local communities, “I’ve enjoyed doing the Summer Town Tours because, although there’s a lot of similarities every town is unique in what they do. So there’s always good fun, and there’s parades, and things for the entire family to enjoy. From usually the start of the day, a lot of them start with runs in the morning and finish with music and entertainment in the evenings, and all day long just a bunch of entertainment. So every one of them is different, like I said a lot of similarities, but they’re all unique. And that’s what makes it so much fun and why we wanted to do the Summer Town Tour to begin with.”

Kidzfest will be in Washington’s Central Park from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The family event will have games, food, and many booths to visit.
