The Sigourney boys golf team won their district tournament and will be advancing to the state tournament as a team. The Savages won their district tournament Wednesday afternoon in Riverside. With their first place finish, Sigourney earns a spot as a team in the class 1A state golf tournament. Winfield-Mount Union saw two of their golfers have success. Nolan Ross and Jarod Kadel finished in the top five and qualify for state as individuals. The state golf tournament will be May 24th and 25th in Newton.
