The 2019 track season has officially come to a close and a few area teams spent the final day of the season on the Blue Oval in Des Moines.
Highland’s Emily Yahnke picked up her second and third medal of the meet placing sixth in the 100m (13.14) and also being a part of the third place 4x100m relay team (51.09) along with Aly Stokes, Sarah Schneider, and Kristy Thomann. Winfield-Mt. Union’s Brandon Snowden capped off an impressive season finishing second in the 200m (22.51) and third in the 100m (11.39). Keota’s Justin Moeller also competed Saturday in the 800m placing 14th in the class 1A race (2:03.48).
