With one adjustment of the tassel, 50 Highland High School students became alumni. The commencement ceremony was held Sunday afternoon in the Highland High School gym. Secondary school counselor Derick Ball was the speaker for the event. Highland recognized six students, four valedictorians and two salutatorians. Leann Goody, Megan Hoening, Kate McFarland, Holly Schneider, Kristene Thomann, and Kylie Wood. The six students took the stage together give a speech to thank all the people who contributed to this accomplishment.
