The Washington Public Library is getting into the spirit of Ridiculous Day with a Ridiculously Huge Book Sale. Librarian Allie Paarsmith explains the sale will be pay what you think it’s worth and there is something for everyone, “We’ve got a huge variety of ages, reading levels. There are also a lot of older cook books. We have some large print books, as well. Kids books, young adult books, we have anything you’re looking for.” She adds that by selling these books it makes room on the shelves to add new books to the library’s circulation. The money raised will be used to purchase new books. The sale will be May 30th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., May 31st 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and June 1st 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are needed to staff the sale on the second floor of the library.
