The Mid-Prairie’s boys’ golf team will be represented at the state golf tournament. Junior Noah Schlabaugh punched his ticket to state at last week’s district competition in Riverside. Schlabaugh shot a team-best round of 74, which was good enough to earn him a runner-up finish. Mid-Prairie as a team finished with their best score of the season with a 320, but did not qualify for state. The state golf tournament will be Friday and Saturday in Marshalltown.
