After a 1-0 win over Cedar Valley Christian to close the regular season, the Highland boys’ soccer team couldn’t carry the momentum into Monday evening when they fell to Vinton-Shellsburg 10-0 in the first round of a class 1A sub-state game.

The Huskies close the 2019 campaign 2-10 and say goodbye to seniors Cory Stewart, Brady Hahn, Jordan Sosa, Holly Schneider, Cristian Arciga, and Jose Cardenas.
