A new subdivision is coming to Kalona. 

The Kalona City Council has approved the plat for a new subdivision within city limits. The city council approved the designs for the Valley View Subdivision, which features 12 lots that are designed for a mixture of multi-family and single-family homes. Valley View will be built just east of Mid-Prairie East Elementary School along H Avenue. City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says he hopes to have ground broken this spring.
