The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team rolled through the first round of the playoffs on Thursday, handling the Hawks of Central Lee by a 7-1 score at Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman. The Golden Hawks controlled things from the start building a 4-0 lead going to the halftime break. Julia Boller and Kaitlin Martin led the way with two goals each. Libby Baker, Esther Hughes and Sydney Yoder each scored once. The Golden Hawks have now won eight in a row and are 10-3 on the year as they travel to Fort Madison Tuesday for a second round match up with Holy Trinity Catholic.
