Splish splash, the Washington public pool is opening for the season. The Steele Family Aquatic Center in Sunset Park officially opened Tuesday and will have limited hours through June 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. June 7th is the last day of classes in the Washington Community School District. Starting June 8th, the pool will be open 1-7 p.m. for open swim through August 24th. It does close one hour earlier on Sundays. Daily admission rates are $4 per person, a 10-day punch card for $30, or season passes are available for $70 for an individual or $160 for a family of up to six people. The city pool is operated by the Washington YMCA and swim lessons are available outside of open swim times at an additional cost.
