After a postponement yesterday against Knoxville, the Washington softball team will have another chance to get on the diamond against the Panthers today in a single game.

The Demons got one contest in last week that included an 8-5 loss to Anamosa. Washington tallied seven hits in the defeat. The Panthers are coming off of a 16-11 2018 campaign and so far are 2-1 this year. Alex Griggs is off to a fast start to the season going 8-for-12 from the plate and knocking in five runs. Ashlyn Finarty has been in the circle each game and has a 2.33 ERA.

Varsity will play first at 5 p.m. with the junior varsity team to follow in Washington. Listen to the game on FM 106.1 KCII starting at 4:30 p.m.
