Area rivers have breached their banks and flood warnings are in effect. The Iowa River at Columbus Junction rose more than two feet from Wednesday to Thursday. The flood warning there is in effect until Sunday with moderate flooding forecast. Near Lone Tree the flood warning for the Iowa River is in effect until Sunday. The flood warning for the Iowa River at Wapello is in effect until Wednesday and at Oakville it is in effect until further notice with moderate flooding. At Kalona major flooding is forecast for the English River and the flood warning is in effect until Saturday night. The flood warning for the North Skunk River near Sigourney is in effect until Sunday. And the Cedar River near Conesville has a flood warning until Wednesday.
