A burglary is being investigated in Riverside. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday a motor vehicle theft was called into dispatch from the 1000 grid of Blue Grass Drive. The caller said his 2014 Ford F350 was stolen and the keys had been inside it. A sheriff’s deputy located the truck in the 3000 grid of Highway 22. That call was connected to a shop that was broken into the 3100 grid of 115th Street near Riverside. In the shop motorcycles and four-wheelers were moved around, but they were unsure if anything was missing. Two screens and a door were damaged. In the 3100 grid of Highway 22 it was noticed that someone had tried to get into a van, but there was no damage. And the fourth incident related to the others was in the 3000 grid of Highway 22 where an electronic device that transmits time sheets was taken from an unlocked van. The incidents in the Riverside area are under investigation.
