Ridiculous Day returns to Washington Saturday. The annual event features ridiculous sales by downtown businesses. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says the sales are part of the day’s events, “We know that’s a big tradition around here, there’s bargains around the square. And the princess and superhero contest. And then the ducks in the fountain will be all ready to go and the divers are ready for that. And then we have the parade starting at 1 p.m. this year, instead of 2 p.m.” Anyone can be in the parade, and you can sign up Saturday morning at the event.

After Ridiculous Day on the square, Flightline Live will be out at the Washington Municipal Airport. Live music will be performed and this is the only event of the Summer Classic where tickets are needed. It is $8 per person at the gate.
