
The Pekin softball team flexed their offensive muscles Friday night at Iowa Mennonite School in Kalona, taking a Superconference win over IMS by a 20-3 score in four innings. The Panthers scored in every frame including a 16 batter, 11 run fourth. IMS got a single run in the first and a pair in the second. They were led by Suzanna Yoder with two runs and two hits, Rubye Ney had a hit, run and RBI. With the loss, IMS falls to 0-2 on the season.
