The Southeast Iowa Super Conference recently released its 2019 boys’ soccer all-conference list and five Columbus Community players were recognized.

Headlining the selections was Omar Nunez being named to the first team. Nunez was a staple defensively for the Wildcats and also had three assists on the year. Felix Solis and Angel Hernandez were named to the second team. The duo led the team in scoring with five and three goals, respectively. Alex Rivas and Luis Guerrero were recognized for honorable mention to round out the selections.

The Wildcats finished the year 5-9 and lose Rivas, Candy Nunez, Chance Colby, Jose Cerezo, and Lane Scorpil to graduation.
