The Mid-Prairie softball team is coming off of a busy week as they ready to host the Tipton Tigers in a home River Valley Conference doubleheader. Mid-Prairie is 0-7 on the year after dropping four games last week including an RVC doubleheader to Durant and losses to Washington and Davenport Assumption at the University of Iowa Softball Complex. Mid-Prairie is hitting .214 as a team, led by Cassidy Rourke at 429 with three home runs and three RBI. The Golden Hawks have a 6.56 team ERA with Rourke leading the way at 15 innings thrown. Myah Lugar has a team best 3.00 ERA.
Tipton comes into the game with an overall record of 0-6. They were beaten in their home tournament by Anamosa and Northeast Goose Lake over the weekend.
