Two garages were damaged in a wreck Tuesday in Washington.

Just before 11 a.m., KCII News reported live from the scene of 9th Avenue between Jefferson Street and Madison Street that a vehicle crashed into a garage. According to the Washington Police Department, a vehicle operated by 40-year-old Christopher Reed of Washington crashed into the rear-end of a garage. Reed’s vehicle then pushed the truck that was parked in the garage into another garage.

Reed had a warrant for probation revocation for theft in the fourth degree with bond at $1,000 out of Iowa City. He also has local charges for driving under suspension and failure to maintain control.

The Washington Police Department, Washington Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance, and Washington Rescue assisted at the scene.
