A memorial to honor six Louisa Littleton brothers who gave their lives in the Civil War received a makeover.

The monument was erected in 2016, and with the help of Muscatine Community Coordinator Hannah Howard and other community members it continues to grow. Earlier this month, a dozen Littleton family members planted wildflowers to border the monument. The flower bed is the latest addition to the historical site in Louisa County near the Hopewell Mounds.
