The Mid-Prairie baseball team traveled to West Branch on Monday and took one of two from the Bears. In game one, Mid-Prairie fell by a 4-2 score. The Hawks scored single runs in the first and fourth innings to build a 2-0 lead but the Bears came back with four in the sixth to get the win. Brad Tornow was two for four at the plate and Aidan Rath had an RBI. Keegan Gingerich took the loss on the mound going five and two thirds innings, giving up four hits, three runs, two walks and striking out 12.

The nightcap was all Mid-Prairie as the Golden Hawks ran away with a 7-0 win, scoring once in the first, fourth and fifth innings before putting together a big four run sixth. Keegan Gingerich was two for four at the plate with an RBI. Vinny Bowlin drove in two. Brad Tornow tossed a four hit complete game shut out. With the split, Mid-Prairie is now 8-6 on the year.
