Union baseball team comes into the game with an overall record of 1-14. In their last contest the Wolves were beaten 10-0 by Highland last night. On the season, WMU is hitting .203 as a team, led by Christian Gerot with his .303 average. The Wolves have a team ERA of 11.13, led by Dawson Berthold with a 1-2 record in 10 innings and a mark of 8.40.
Iowa Mennonite comes into the game with an overall record of 10-6. Last time out they won at Wapello 10-1. On the season, IMS is hitting .293 as a team, led by Blake Bontrager and his .422 average. On the hill, IMS has a 3.89 team ERA, led by Trevor Leyden and Eli Ours with a combined 1.20 ERA and 6-0 record across 38 innings of work. These two teams met earlier this season with IMS taking a 9-0 win in Kalona.
The Winfield-Mt. Union softball team stands at 12-7 on the year after their 2-1 loss to Highland on Monday. The Wolves are hitting .254 as a team, led by Keetyn Townsley with a .356 average. In the circle the Wolves have a team ERA of 2.45 with Madie Anderson leading the way with a 12-5 record in 112 innings of work and a 1.87 ERA.
The IMS softball team is 2-17 overall. They fell at Wapello Monday 15-2. On the season, IMS is hitting .220 as a team, led by Rubye Ney with a .400 average. In the circle IMS has a team ERA of 8.23, led by Leah Bontrager with a 7.64 ERA in 94 innings of work and a 2-16 overall record. These two teams met earlier this year with Winfield-Mt. Union taking a 6-2 win.
