The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association (IaHSCCA) recently released its 2019 Boys Academic All-State teams and two Washington players were recognized.

Junior German Ramirez was selected to the second team for class 2A and junior Levi Rohr was recognized for honorable mention. To be eligible for consideration a student must have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and participate in at least half of the school’s varsity match halves. Head Coach Sally Hart tells KCII Sports she is proud of the hard work shown in the classroom and field by those two.

The defensemen helped the Demons to a 3-12 season.
