Skies across the KCII-listening area will be filled with fireworks this 4th of July.

Washington will be hosting a firework show at the Washington County Fairgrounds starting at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The KCII Big Red Radio will be playing music for those who come to the display. The City of Fairfield will start their fireworks display at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at dusk. The Wayland Volunteer Fire Department will conclude the city’s 4th of July celebration with a firework show at the WACO football field. Wellman will also finish their celebration with a firework display.

KCII will be playing non-stop patriotic music from 7 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday on AM and FM KCII and our free mobile app.
