The Mid-Prairie baseball team made it six wins in their last seven games with a 6-1 win over Monticello on Wednesday by a 6-1 score. The Hawks got on the board first with a single run in the third. Monticello tied it with a single tally in the fourth. Mid-Prairie took over late, scoring five unanswered with three in the fifth and two in the sixth to secure the win. Chris Miller and Keegan Gingerich each had an RBI. Gingerich got the win throwing four innings and striking out six. The Golden Hawks are now 14-9 on the season.
