A building on the National Register of Historic Places in Washington is undergoing asbestos abatement. The Blair House at the corner of East Washington Street and South 2nd Avenue is undergoing emergency asbestos abatement. The brick Victorian home was constructed in the 1880s. To help fund the fix, the Washington County Riverboat Foundation has awarded its first ever surprise grant. The grant was for $7,300.
