The Washington baseball team let the good times roll into Monday when they won their fourth and fifth straight games sweeping Center Point-Urbana in a doubleheader on the road.

In game one Washington generated 13 hits en route to a quick 12-0 win in five innings. Luke Turner was humming along on the bump throwing a complete game two-hitter and striking out seven. Trevor Quigley had a big game at the plate going 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. Reece Mayer added a pair of hits and three RBI.

In the nightcap the game was tied at 3-3 heading into the final inning when the Demons scratched across a pair of runs to come away with a 5-3 victory. Washington pitching combined to give up just three hits with Ethan Patterson starting and going four innings giving up two runs. Chase McDole retired all six batters he faced including three strikeouts to be rewarded the win. The Demons had 10 knocks led by a 3-for-3 game with three RBI from Patterson.

Washington improves to 18-7 and they welcome Solon to town tonight.
