A pair of KCII area teams will resume their postponed game from earlier this season Tuesday when the Iowa Mennonite School baseball team visits Winfield-Mt. Union. The two teams were in the middle of a conference clash two weeks ago when the game was stopped in the third inning due to lightning with IMS on top 1-0 and the bases loaded. IMS enters play with an overall record of 10-7. Last time out they were beaten by Highland 7-5. On the year, IMS is hitting .295 as a team, led by Blake Bontrager and his .408 average. On the mound, IMS has a team ERA of 3.96, led by Trevor Leyden and Eli Ours with a combined 6-0 record in 38 innings and an ERA of one.

Winfield-Mt. Union comes into the game with an overall record of 1-21. The Wolves were swept at Keota Monday by 12-1 and 16-2 scores. On the season WMU is hitting .196 as a team, led by Jacob Ford with a .288 average. As a team the Wolves have an 11.45 ERA led by Dawson Bergthold with an 8.69 ERA in 19 innings of work and a 1-4 record.
