It has been a banner season so far for the Iowa Mennonite School baseball team, lead by their pitching staff. IMS has a team ERA of 3.59, best in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division. The Mediapolis Bulldogs are second at 3.61.  IMS has two of the top three pitchers in the conference ERA race this season on their staff led by Trevor Leyden and his microscopic 0.33 mark, best in the league. Eli Ours is third in the SEISC at 1.81. Iowa Mennonite will next be on the field Saturday when they host the Pekin Panthers in a class 1A district championship game in Kalona.
