Twenty-five people came together to create one quilt. A new contest at the Washington County Fair had quilters each make a block from the same selection of fabrics. The blocks with oranges, greens, and maroon were on display in the open class exhibits. Each square was judged and the winning block features a star called “Spinning Points” which created by Carolyn Bollman of rural Washington. The 25 different blocks will now be assembled into one quilt and auctioned off at next year’s Washington County Fair.
