Four area people have been appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to various boards and commissions in the state. Catherine Miller-Sands of Wapello was named to the Agricultural Arts Council. Sarah Latcham of Wellman was appointed to the Libraries Commission. Washington Mayor Jaron Rosien will be part of the Arts Council. And Mid-Prairie Superintendent Mark Schneider of Wellman was appointed to the Developmental Disabilities Council. These appointments are not subject to Senate confirmation.
