The Lone Tree baseball postseason run came to a close on Saturday when they fell to Calamus-Wheatland 6-0 in a class 1A district final.
The Warriors plated three runs in the second, one in the fourth, and added insurance with two tallies in the sixth to come away with the victory. Lion batters had a tough time against Caleb Banowetz, as he tossed a complete game two hitter and recorded 14 strikeouts. The Warriors had six hits on the day.
Lone Tree closes the year 13-11 and they say goodbye to seniors Avery Knock, Bryce Houser, and Payton Lorack.
