Iowa Mennonite School senior Trevor Leyden made his final year on the mound one to remember. Leyden broke the school record for season ERA. He finished the year with microscopic 0.33 mark. He had a 3-0 record across 21 innings, allowing just seven hits and only one earned run while striking out 24. Opponents hit .100 against him. His 0.33 mark breaks the previous school record held by his head coach Danny Hershberger who posted a 0.37 ERA during the 2008 season. IMS finished with an overall record of 13-8.
