The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball team saw an increase in power numbers during the 2019 season. A year ago, Mid-Prairie had a single home run, this season their power numbers exploded with eight long balls, seventh most in 2A. The Golden Hawks were led by sophomore Aidan Rath with six home runs, fourth most by any individual in 2A. Vinny Bowlin belted the other two homers for Mid-Prairie. The Golden Hawks ended the season with an 18-12 overall record.
