A Salem man was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck in Mt. Pleasant.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, they received an emergency call just before 5 a.m. Wednesday reporting the wreck in the 2000 Grid of 255th Street of Mt. Pleasant. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Ryan Bentler of Salem. Bentler was transported by ambulance to the Henry County Health Center with injuries sustained from the wreck.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
