The issuance of nearly $7 million in general obligation bonds for Washington County’s emergency communication facility and equipment will be considered at Tuesday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. The supervisors have been meeting with Northland Securities to set up the agreement. The bonds will be paid off in 2030. Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting is an animal confinement feeding operation, the appointment of a deputy treasurer, and a construction observation and materials testing agreement with Carl A. Nelson. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Courthouse.
