Winning the east division meant plenty of All-Conference selections in the South Iowa Cedar League for the Sigourney baseball team, as seven players received recognition.

Josh Mohr and Bo Schmidt headlined the selections being named to the first team. In his sophomore campaign Mohr tied the team lead with a .315 batting average and recorded a 3.19 ERA in 41 2/3 innings on the bump. Schmidt busted on to the scene in his freshman season finishing with a 2.65 ERA in 39 2/3 innings.

Three players were named to the second team including Mac Conrad, Nick Goad, and Cade Streigle. Conrad had 19 RBI on the year, Goad had 16 runs scored, and Streigle had a .394 on base percentage.

Payton Schauf and Brock Halleran received honorable mention. Schauf had four home runs and led the team with 26 RBI while Halleran had a .286 batting average.

The Savages finished 15-10 overall and 12-4 in league play.
