A woman wanted out of Washington County on drug charges was arrested in Toledo over the weekend. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 7:14 p.m. Saturday Washington County authorities were notified by the Toledo Police Department that they were out with a person wanted on a Washington County warrant. Police arrested 39-year-old Heather Christine Adams of Tama for possession of a controlled substance marijuana and methamphetamine (second offense) and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $4,600.
The initial incident happened on April 6th when officers stopped a vehicle in Brighton, at which time Adams was cited for allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Daniel Riness, 40-years-old, of Brighton was arrested for driving while barred. Adams was taken to the Washington County Jail.
