A memorial service for 84-year-old James J. “Jim” Hooley of Washington will be held Saturday (8/3) at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Church in Wayland. Private family burial will take place at West Union Cemetery prior to the service. Visitation will be Friday (8/2) from 4–7 p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorial donations may be directed to Donna Heisner Hooley and will be distributed according to the family’s wishes.
