After a stellar sophomore season on the diamond, Kellie Dallmeyer is still raking in postseason awards, as she was recently recognized by the state.

The Iowa Girls Coaches Association listed Dallmeyer as third team all state softball in class 4A. The shortstop and catcher recorded the most hits in the Southeast Conference with 59 and her .461 batting average ranked second. She had 45 runs scored, 27 RBI, 14 extra-base hits, and showed off the speed with all 14 stolen base attempts being successful. Head Coach Ben Obermann tells KCII Sports she could do it all. “Her production speaks for itself. Wherever we put her defensively she is probably going to be our best overall defender. Offensively she did a great job in the leadoff spot for us. She is a good all-around athlete and that is evident by the all-state recognition.”

Dallmeyer helped the Demons to a 22-15 season.
