The Washington County Board of Supervisors will discuss roads, recycling, and conservation at their weekly meeting Tuesday. First on the agenda is a monthly update from WEMIGA Waste regarding the county’s recycling facility. Washington County Conservation will present a personnel change request as well as its annual report. An Iowa DOT agreement for county bridge federal-aid swap funding for a bridge replacement on Birch Avenue will be discussed. Also, the county’s five-year road program being revised, and an application for traffic safety improvement funds for the Riverside Road will be considered. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Courthouse.
