Two Washington High School seniors, FFA members, and twins earned first place accolades at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. In the FFA Breeding Beef Show Hereford heifer class both Sophie Bell and Ellie Bell earned first place with their cows. Sophie Bell is the Washington FFA Chapter President and Ellie is the Washington FFA Chapter Secretary. The Bell sisters are the daughters of Kerri and Lance Bell of Keota.
