The name of the deceased woman found in a farm field near Wayland has been released. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says the woman has been identified as 29-year-old Brandy Mae Shepherd-Margita of Anamosa. Her body was found deceased in a field near the 1200 grid of Highway 78 on Friday. An autopsy is scheduled. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office states, at this time no risk to the public exists. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to work on the investigation and is being assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
