A new subdivision will soon start to see pavement in Kalona.

At the recent city council meeting, City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh explained that DeLong Construction says they are planning to begin work on the six-figure pavement project in the next few weeks. The project will add pavement on 12th Street between H Avenue and J Avenue. In July, the city accepted the bid from DeLong for $124,271.
